Estancia La Carona has over 42 hectares of vast grounds surrounded by various species of trees entwined with a lake and its private rivers.
The Pulpería is an old barn restored and built six years ago following the style of the main house. In an effort to enhance the experience, the decoration is just like an original pulperia.
The pulpería was the only meeting place for the gaucho in rural areas. There, they met to chat, after long days of work, or weeks of not seeing each other. In some cases the pulperias became, in addition to center of gaucho meetings, in stores of general branches where the population was supplied with food, clothing and inputs for the field.
The Museum of Native Arts
It also has a museum located upstairs of the Pulpería, where you find the clothing, weapons and original musical instruments used by our natives. In our museum the fusion between the European and the aborigine is shown through the different exhibited pieces.
The Estancia has two excellent quality approved polo fields, with paddocks for more than 100 horses.
Managed by Argentina Polo Day,with its owners, Ruben and Celia , who are there every day taking care of every details and making sure you enjoy the beautiful setting and the best of the argentine traditions!
